TAJ LEAF FOUNDER

One Founder, One Honest Kenyan Ridge.

In 1962, one man walked a Kenyan ridge with seedlings tied in his shirt and a single name in his head — Taj Leaf. Sixty-three full years on, he still picks those same fields by hand, slower than scale demands, exactly as he began.

REVIEWS

What people write after the third cup. Plain words only.

"Brews deep and clean, no perfume. The only black tin I keep stocked behind the counter — regulars notice the very moment a different one shows up."

Lena Achieng
Buyer, Cape Tea Co. SA

"The OPA green is what convinced our head chef. We pour it cold-brewed for the summer tasting menu — guests still ask what the leaf is every visit."

Theo Karanja
Head Chef, Hotel Verde

"Honest tea, honestly priced. The OPA opens slow and stays in the cup long after it cools — the kind of leaf you don't dilute, or hide behind milk."

Yuki K. Sato
Roaster, Kobe Tea Bar.
